Sept. 1. McKinely
I pulled up just as BBR was landing his kite. He got the best of it and even he said the wind was coming down. Never to let better judgement stop me, I went out on the hydrofoil. The wind was switching from SSE to SSW over and over. I did get stuck one time when the wind died almost completely while...

Re: Finishing August.
The swamp was honkin'. Mitchell is officially the fastest ever to get up on a board. In less than 3 hours he was riding. The wind was anywhere from 12 to 25mph. Between the gusts, lulls, weeds, and my mismatched pigtails, he made it work. JV, thanks for connecting me with Gary too! I hope he is havi...

Re: Finishing August.
I'm doing a lesson at Big Muskego. Hope the wind stays up and the weeds are dying back here and at Pike!

Snuck in a lesson and hydrofoil session from the jet ski shack near McKinely yesterday. BBR must be in the UK or he would have been there!

The swamp turned out better than expected. BBR on 17m and I rode a 12m and big boards. BBR got some good air though!

Monday 8/1 Swamp
It's already pretty breezy at Big Muskego. I have no idea when Cabrinha is showing up. No communication from them in the last couple of days. I'm going to get out there today regardless!

Re: THU 7/28
BBR went from powered to nothing several times. It actually get better after he left. Sorry BBR. Sean was learning to get riding in light wind himself and I was having a great time.
BTW, Cabrinha is coming to town next week. Location TBD

Re: July 19-20
Took me 30 minutes to get through the weeds because it was too windy to paddle upwind! Then the ride was good and tiring. Whew, my arms are plastic.
The swamp is still good for riding, but I'm too tired.

Re: Thu Jun 30
Mat, the Swamp, Little Hat, and Big M. are all names for Big Muskego. It was really up and down wind speeds, but I saw David H. and someone else launch from Boxhorn and have a good ride. BBR and I launch up here. When packing up Jeff Powerman launched from Boxhorn also. Weirdly inconsistent wind for...

Re: Fri 6/24
So glad I was wrong! Chad, BBR, and Jeff Powerman were out there when I got to the jet ski shack. Almost no wind on the ground to flap your kite at all, but once 100 yards off shore with the kite high, there was plenty of wind. Not many gybes and I was at Summerfest.
