2019 WISSA event Feb 4-9 2019.

Start planning for the event on Windybago this winter. Unlike the last couple years when WAK event was held as a standalone event durung Sturgeon Stampede, this year once again they are hosting the World Ice & Snow Sailing Association (WISSA) World Championship as they did a few years back. This international event will draw competitors from around the world, and is a great event to participate in!

Hey JR, I was hoping too but that isn't looking likely now. I've got a headache that week. Supposed to be traveling for work and now I got some court hearings for that week that I have to be present for. I will do my best to get up there any hang out, but competing is looking like out of the question at this point :(

Sorry to hear Jeff, I know Kevin will be bummed as I saw him yesterday when I got another bigger kitewing. I briefly considered signing up to help him out, but so far nobody else racing foil with snowboard and I hate kiting with skiis. Need at least five for a class. Could try the kitewing class, but I know who is competing and I doubt I'd finish any races on the same day as them... So, I'll be helping run that event instead. ;) Hoping to at least to participate in distance race(s) even if it is only unofficial. If you make it up I'll spring for a beer. Otherwise I'll be cheerin on our homie JR.
