Lads!

I am back stateside and damn is it looking MORK AND MINDY tomorrow! I am thinking Bradford in the morning (10ish) but of course will check the weather when I wake up. I am hoping it's strong enough for the 9m for the first time in a long while.

Post if you're heading down.

(Mork and Mindy = windy).

10:00 at Bradford sounds good to me. See you there.

10 am might be too early for me. I want the wind already filled in and not have to change kites as it builds.

Looking at the forecast now, I’m with Stafford on this one. Might wait a little bit longer here and see what happens.

I'm at Bradford right now. The wind is side on shore and I'm guessing about a 10 to 12 meter kite would be the right choice. It's just now starting to rain. Ugh.

I need to check the radar to see if this is going to get worse or stay like it is.

The sailing centers showing huge changes in wind speed as well, which tells me that it's still shifting and not fully on shore yet. I'm packed up and ready to go but going to hang out until I see some consistent readings from the sailing center station.

Kite lads are here at Bradford! Apparently Don tried going out on a 17 and got a little humbled by the wind! Looking like a lot of 12/13/14s for most but wind is supposed to build. I already count 6 kites on the beach though. Gonna blow up the 13!

About four hours on the water in my back yard this afternoon, glad we didn't get the 40+mph gusts NOAA threatened, but plenty of gusts around 35 to keep me on my toes! Hope Bradford worked for the crew there.

Great day down at Bradford. Started out on 10m and surfboard despite forecast, it was beautiful. Really clean waves with minimal chop between.

Out deeper there were nice 10' rollers. Big enough that one time I totally slacked my lines and drop my kite given the velocity of the wave itself.

Lots of locals out there, and I have to give a huge shout out to BBR, holy smokes it was awesome watching you. You've progressed so far it's really fun to watch. What a great day.

Apparently my 10 year old kite can’t handle the amount of water from one large wave. I put it down one time for about 12 seconds and that is all it took. Tore it perfectly down the center. On the bright side I did get some pretty unbelievable body surfing In on the way to shore. Thanks so much for saving my board Stafford. You always keep an eye on everyone. It was nice seeing everybody again.
