Banking on a thermal today down at McKinley. I am going to keep an eye on the meters but I'd bet on wind between noon and 4pm give or take a bit. Hope to see others down there.

Heading down shortly, looks like wind is showing up. If I don't post up again, you all know why. If conditions aren't as expected I'll post up.

too many people on McKinley and Bradford beaches and just two light of wind couldn't find any Safeway to get out to the break which is where the wind is. Heading up to Sheboygan with JR.

Really solid foil set with powerman

He was on some new gear, soul foil kite which I need to try

Played around in the bay then ended by looping around the power plant intakes

Fun session for sure. Wind was a little sketchy inside as usual, but plenty of power on a 12m and hydrofoil.

It was my first time ever on a high aspect hydroil and high aspect foil kite. Was pretty impressed, though took a good 30 - 45 min to get used to it. Got to the power plant buoys with JR in maybe 3 tacks, felt like it was going nearly straight into the wind at times. Finally got the right equipment for my riding style and it fun to get it dialed in now.

@JR, you are welcome to try the Soul any time. I'd recommend 15 to 20 knots with a twin tip...that is where the kite is really the most fun. It also works real well in light wind, but if you have to self rescue it's not going to be a fun sesh...either way let's get you on it some time and you can try for yourself. I'd also recommend trying the Ozone Hyperlink V2...in winter time I really miss having a 5th line...so much easier to land solo with the fifth line.

I might be able to get Stafford to let us demo one...those guys aren't cheap though, we'll see.
