I'm hoping the rain quits by tomorrow afternoon. If it does and there's some wind, I'll be at SSYC about 3:30.

Hmmm. With all the rain today and forecast for tonight, maybe SSYC might not be the best choice. Where does the sewer overflow discharge? Maybe Sheboygan would be healthier.

So far, MMSD isn't reporting any overflows: https://www.mmsd.com/

That could change by tomorrow afternoon.

Regardless, there is always street runoff which discharges in many spots, one is for sure right next to the CG Station inside the breakwall just north of SSYC. Then there is non-point sources, which are everywhere. In general, less populated spots will be healthier unless you are near a farm runoff spot.

Don already knows all this, but I'm posting it for anyone new to kiting.

I'm going to make a game-time call....

Is anyone else unhappy with the reliability of the current stations? Does anyone know if they are solar powered now? It seems every time we get a few cloudy days, both the Miwaukee sailing center and the new station by the coast guard go down...anyone out or near SSYC?
