Looks like the wind hit. Get some before the rain.

Bradford is good. 'Ryan " is on a 15.5 but says he may need to rig down soon. I have only a short time so I will go with my 13. Big waves.

I launched at McKinely because I wanted to ride a 10m Flysurfer Soul and thought I'd need a hydrofoil. Turns out I didn't. I rode a twinny all the way up to the main gap and back. The sheriff and fire dept. approached me on the beach as they got a call that someone "hit the rocks and now I don't see them anymore". oof. I was standing there straightening my lines like, "um maybe they don't actually know there is a beach here, sorry".

It was a good day at Bradford on Saturday - I was the first one there (I live about a half-mile away) around 8am and the wind was already pulling nicely. I put up a 12m but that wasn't enough though, so got the 15.5 out, fully powered (I am 200 lbs when I've not had breakfast). A few other riders joined and it was fun, even though getting past those initial wave breaks is tough for a novice like me! Hopefully more Bradford days soon!
