I am tempted to hit up Bradford EARLY tomorrow (like 6am-7am) while the wind is still on shore. I'll keep an eye on it and report back.

Bradford was dead this morning (got there around 7:30am). Wind was blowing parallel to shore but not strong at all.

I am considering the Swamp later this morning. I have never been to Pike. Where exactly do you park there and what is the launch situation like? Any advice would be helpful, thanks all!

For Pike, go to the State Park (you will need sticker or pay), park to the right Facing lake, follow grass directly to shore. You enter water through openings in the trees. Do not believe we can use the big open beach until after this weekend, but plenty of room to set up on grass and water launch in shallow water.

The swamp was pretty good. It's a no crashing your kite lake now though. Even launching was tough. The weeds are as bad as they've ever been. But the wind was fairly steady.

Pike was fun too. Wind was the opposite of steady, but plenty of it and no weeds.

Great day for Bonnie and I on Pike today, wing foil, kite & windsurf for hours! More tomorrow, east shore of Windybago at Club Altmeyer!

Ventured to Delavan Lake around 4 and had some great runs. Like others, the wind was great when up. Some lulls that proved a bit tough, but fun to use that time to really focus on technique.
No beachgoers and very little boat traffic, plus the grass setup was very nice. Thanks to Stafford and Don for the idea/instructions for Delavan!

Where did you launch Amos ?

Drift launch to the left (or west) of the main beach. I walked a ways left of the pier/fishing pier along that island to give me lots of space. Closer to that island, the wind was a bit fluky so as soon as I got kite in air I headed out to the middle where the wind was better. Hope that helps!

That would be the community park on south shore drive south east of the marina?
and not the one just west of the marina?

Yes, the community park. All the grass made 4 a nice setup. The beach and swimming area are on the smaller side which is why I walked out away from that pier and let my lines out/launched. I did the drift launch 2x with no issues... Hope it helps!
