My dogs and I watched the wind blow down some dead ash trees from the comfort of the living room couch. At times more entertaining than the Packers game. I was very happy I already removed so many ash trees that were close to the house.

Alex and I went to Delevan. He was able to get going ok there, but needs more practice to be riding on foil for more than a few seconds. I tried a 7 and a foil - rode to the right all right, but had problems getting started going left so I decided to try body dragging upwind so I would have more room, but noticed I didn’t have my safety leash connected so went back to the beach so I could stand and get that attached... I stayed in the water and just set the kite down at the edge of the window expecting to just relaunch easily, but the weeds had other ideas. Once it was sorted, I figured I would try again, but at that point my confidence was shot and I needed to boost. Pulled out the 12 and a twin tip - Got my confidence back!!
