New kiter curious about the snow...

Postby rhill9887 » Wed Dec 17, 2008 10:52 am

Hey Everyone, I was wondering if someone could give me a quick heads-up about kiting in the snow. I have mastered the water last year but am unsure of the gear preferred for the snow. Is a twin tip snowboard better than directional? Is there a special board that will hold an edge better? I also feel like I would ruin my inflatables riding with them in the cold conditions. Is a depowerable foil a better option? What about kite size for the winter? I'm sure that this topic has been covered at one point in time. Any help would save me lots of stress. Thanks kiters...
